This project was created as part of a course focused on experiencing a professional 3D artist pipeline. I began with concept art, designing Cyclops in both streetwear and his classic comic costume. From there, I went through the full production workflow:
- Created high-poly and low-poly models in Maya
- Sculpted anatomy details in ZBrush
- Performed retopology in Maya for game-ready meshes
- Baked and textured using Substance Painter
- Rigged in Maya, including painting skin weights for proper deformation
- Recorded custom animation in the Green Room, then applied and refined it in MotionBuilder
This project gave me the chance to follow a complete industry-standard character pipeline, from initial concept to final animated presentation.
